Options to Clean Your FreeSip® Twist
But cleaning is hard, right? Wrong. We’ve made the FreeSip® Twist incredibly easy to clean, with some options that require just a little work to some that require (almost) no work. Because you’ve got enough things on your plate as it is. So if you’re ready to get your bottle back to pristine condition, take a look at these options and choose your winner.
Handwash
- Begin by separating pieces
- Remove the carry loop before washing
- Twist off the lid, then the spout
- Pull straw out from the spout
- Remove the ring gasket around the spout piece
- Twist and pull hard to remove a key mechanism inside the lid
- Take out the gasket around the key mechanism
- Use a bottle brush to clean the entire bottle, lid, and removed pieces with dish soap
- Lay out to dry
Dishwasher
- We recommend hand washing the base and lid
- Straw can be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher
- The key mechanism, spout, and both gaskets can be placed in the utensil case of the dishwasher
- Run the dishwasher and use it afterwards!
EcoBrite™ Cleaning Tablets
- Disassemble and soak in water
- Soak EcoBrite™ tablets for 5-10 minutes. For a deeper clean, let it soak overnight.
