Emma Carpenter
Former D1 golfer at University of Minnesota, Emma now lives in LA when she isn't traveling for her job as a golf broadcaster, host and content creator.
A little about me...
What is your least boring quality?
I’ve somehow turned my love of golf into a career that lets me travel the world, play golf, interview some of the best athletes on the planet, and tell stories for a living - but my Type B personality makes the travel and go-go-go lifestyle ALWAYS chaotic. I’m also a classically trained vocalist with only one song left in my repertoire (the National Anthem).
What is the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done?
Probably booking a last-minute trip to somewhere I’d never been just because the opportunity presented itself. I’m a big believer that some of the best stories come from saying yes before you’ve had too much time to overthink it.
What are you most likely to be voted?
Smiliest :)
What is your proudest moment?
There are a lot of moments in my career that I’m proud of, but I think I’m most proud of building a career that combines the things I’ve always loved: golf, storytelling, competition, and connecting with people. Going from playing Division I golf to covering the sport professionally on Golf Channel, PGA Tour Live, and Big Ten Network is something younger me would have been over the moon about.
What is your go-to Owala product?
The FreeSip Sway is my go-to. I love that I can throw it in my golf bag, bring it to the airport, bring it to the studio, and somehow it survives whatever adventure I’ve decided to get myself into that day. It’s my emotional support bottle.
