GOLF
Meet
Gavin Parker
Based in Virginia, Gavin is a PGA professional who loves the game, runs a junior golf academy, and convinced himself all this counts as a real job. (what's that?)
A little about them...
What is your least boring quality?
I teach golf to kids for a living, which means I spend most of my day negotiating with tiny humans holding metal sticks. Boring isn’t really an option.
What is the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done?
I’m dangerously good at booking a flight first and asking important questions later. If the trip involves golf, good food, or a questionable itinerary, I’m probably in.
What are you most likely to be voted?
Most likely to turn something that absolutely does not need to be a competition into the Olympics.
What is your proudest moment?
Building my junior golf program from the ground up. Seeing kids grow up through it and genuinely love the game makes all the chaos worth it.
What is your go-to Owala product?
FreeSip, no debate. I teach golf outside all summer, so cold water and a bottle I can throw in a golf cart without creating a small flood are pretty high on my list of needs.
