Meet Jessica Clifton
She followed her love for the ocean from Arkansas and wound up with a surf photography, skiing, and rock climbing kind of life.
A little about them...
What is your least boring quality?
I lead all girls camping trips every summer and they’re continually one of the highlights of my year. I’ve led groups in Montana, Utah, and spent the last 2 summers leading camping trips in Alaska!
What is the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done?
At midnight I decided I wanted to go to Mexico so I bought a plane ticket that left at 10 am the very next day.
What are you most likely to be voted?
The most type B person in the room (by a country mile) - I have severe ADHD which always keeps things interesting... I lose my license at least once a year, I famously buy my plane tickets the day before I leave, I currently don’t know where my passport is, and somewhere I have a list of the most type B things I’ve ever done... I tried to reference it for this question but I lost that too.
What is your proudest moment?
I randomly took surf photos for my friends last November and instantly fell in love with surf photography. I invested in a camera and started shooting nearly every day and 8 months later, I started selling my surf prints at art markets around San Diego. Now surf photography is a huge part of my life and I hadn’t even taken my first surf photo a year ago!
What is your go-to Owala product?
The Owala FreeSip! As you can tell, my life is very chaotic and all over the place so it’s nice to have my favorite water bottle with me whether I’m traveling, taking photos, or on one of my outdoor adventures. It’s with me everywhere!
