TRAVEL
Meet Maddy Voreh
A little bit homebody, a little bit adventury, a lot of North Carolina goodness.
A little about them...
What is your least boring quality?
I have more than 20 tattoos, including a few I’ve gotten while traveling! I’m pretty spontaneous by nature, and I enjoy collecting stories, experiences, and occasionally tattoos along the way.
What is the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done?
I quit my corporate job to become a full-time creator and left for Italy the next day. I put in my two weeks, worked my last day on a Friday, and then left for a two-week trip through the Italian, Austrian, and Swiss Alps. It was such a weird feeling because I spent the whole trip thinking I was on vacation or PTO, only to come home and realize, wait... I actually quit my job.
What are you most likely to be voted?
Little miss “it’s just a few miles”.
What is your proudest moment?
Moving to the mountains of North Carolina and buying my 1970s mountain cottage. It was a huge leap and one of the biggest decisions I’ve ever made!
What is your go-to Owala product?
For me, it’s the 32oz FreeSip. I take one everywhere (hiking, traveling, workout classes, around my house, etc.), but I’ve also been loving the Sun-Day Tote lately. I keep it in my car stocked with a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, bug spray, and other adventure essentials so I’m always prepared if a last-minute adventure pops up.
