What is Birthday Bash?
Every year, we celebrate our Birthday (March 16th) with an annual brand celebration featuring giveaways, special edition products, sales, and community events. In the past we’ve designed scavenger hunts, given away free bottles, and hosted unforgettable parties (black-tie optional). Every year is different, which means you never know what to expect.
What are you doing for Birthday Bash this year?
It’s Owala’s sixth year around the sun and this year we want to soak it up big time. We usually celebrate in March, on our birthday (like normal people) but for this year’s epic plans, April makes a lot more sense….but it’ll be worth the wait. Join us April 13th for our most unexpected Birthday Bash yet. And be sure to sign up for notifications because we’ll be dropping a lot of hints and details before then.
What is the Sun-Day Tote?
The ultimate grab-and-go tote. It pops up when you need it, goes flat when you don’t, and handles water and sand like a champ. It also holds a shocking amount of stuff and looks good on your arm—whether you’re headed to pilates, the farmers market, or a summer trip in Waikiki. Basically, if you’re going somewhere, this bag is coming too.
How big is it?
34L. That’s about 6 beach towels, 3-ish bags of groceries, 3 outfit changes (because why not), 2 yoga mats (plus blocks and straps), or an impressive stack of beach reads. We’re not saying you should pack all that—we’re just saying you could.
Can the Sun-Day Tote get wet?
Absolutely! Both the straps and the body of the bag (made from EVA molded material) were built for splash zones. Which means it can handle beach hangs, pool days, and the inevitable cannonball.
Wait, when is Birthday Bash this year?
Birthday Bash 2026 will take place on April 13th. But there’s lots of other clues and sneak peeks coming before then. Sign up for notifications to get the latest Birthday Bash updates.
Why is Birthday Bash later this year?
We have some pretty epic plans for our sixth birthday. And the best plans take time. There may or may not be bottles, sunshine, events, and outdoor activities. Patience, friends—this one is definitely worth the wait.
Will there be a Birthday Bash sale this year?
You better believe it. Starting at midnight MT, April 17th you can score 20% off sitewide (excluding our special edition Birthday Bash Collection). Sign up for notifications to stay updated on the plan (and to be sure you don’t miss it).
How long will the Birthday Bash 2026 sale run?
This year’s sale is a one-day-only event starting at 10 am MT, April 17th. We like to think of it as a party after the party.
Do I need a code to get 20% off?
NOCODENEEDED. You just focus on picking the bottles and we’ll automatically add the discount to your cart.
Will the new bottles be 20% off as well?
Sadly, no, the new special edition Birthday Bash bottles are not included. But our discount on April 17th applies to everything else—so there are plenty of other goodies to keep the party going!
Can I buy all of the new bottles?
Whether you love each and every one or are just really bad with decisions, you can buy them all. We won’t stop you. Just don’t tell your other bottles… they might get jealous.
Do these bottles require special care?
Yes, treat it like your favorite thing ever! While some of our bottles can handle the dishwasher, we recommend handwashing Birthday Bash bottles to keep them looking their best. After all, most of them can’t be replaced. Lids, however, can take a spin in the dishwasher without a problem.
If I buy a Birthday Bash bottle, when will it land at my door?
Our Birthday Bash is a shopping frenzy, and this year we expect no different. Our shipping department will be working hard to get your orders out the door. We estimate it will take about 3-5 days to process your order and another 3-5 days for it to arrive, but you can also track your order in your account. Feel free to reach out to customer service if you have any issues.
Why don’t certain Birthday Bash bottles come in bigger/smaller sizes?
This year’s Birthday Beach Bash bottles are one of a kind, which means the designs are made exclusively for each product. That’s just what makes them special.
How will I know if I win one of the giveaways?
We’ll DM the lucky winners on TikTok or Instagram to let them know they’ve won. If you don’t get a message, don’t give up! Maybe you’ll win the next one.
What if I don’t have a TikTok or Instagram?
It’s never too late to create an account. You can always ditch it later. If you really don’t want to use social media, you will be able to snag a bottle on our site in April.
